It is important to treat all the systems affected by the concussion in order to make the most complete recovery possible. Evaluation by a therapist and follow up treatment is important to restore patients to their full function in sport, and school or work tasks.

- Double or blurry vision
- Sensitivity to light
- Sensitivity to noise
- Feeling sluggish, hazy, foggy, or groggy
- Concentration or memory problems
- Confusion
- Just not "feeling right" or is "feeling down"
Signs of a concussion may include:
- Appears dazed or stunned
- Is confused about assignment or position
- Forgets an instruction
- Is unsure of game, score, or opponent
- Moves clumsily
- Answers questions slowly
- Loses consciousness (even briefly)
- Shows mood, behavior, or personality changes
Concussion Treatment
Treatment may include specialized eye exercises to help re-establish the smooth, coordinated movement and the ability to focus; dizziness and balance recovery exercises, and manual therapy to the neck to restore normal muscle states and joint mobility.
