Dr. Canon and the entire team at Spine & Sport Physical Therapy are simply amazing! From the moment you walk in, you feel like part of their family, and Dr. Canon's encouraging attitude is what makes the entire experience so special. He has an incredible way of seeing the best in his patients, which inspires you to work hard and believe in your healing journey. Dr. Canon's knowledge and expertise are evident in everything he does - it's clear he genuinely cares about helping his clients achieve their goals. He goes above and beyond to explain the "why" and "how" behind every exercise, and his fun personality makes the process enjoyable, even on the toughest days. You can tell he loves what he does and genuinely wants to see his patients succeed. His work ethic is unmatched, and he makes me feel not just like a patient but like a friend and part of the Spine & Sport family. I highly recommend Dr.Canon to anyone looking for top-notch physical therapy with personal, positive touch. He's truly one of a kind!

Oh my goodness it was amazing my neck hurts so much when I turned to the left and right, but after Mike had worked on it, I can move my neck from left to right so easily. Gabriella and Mike are a great team. they explain things about the muscle and the nerve which made a lot of sense. I was treated warmly and all I can say is that they know what they’re doing, just from one visit I can move my neck left to right without any pain I’m feeling much better, I’m hopeful that they’re going to get all my nerves and muscles working properly no doubt at all!! This is Rose

I recently tore my Achilles tendon and post surgery came to Spine and Sport to start my rehab journey. My PT, Canaan, has been nothing but extraordinary to his attention to detail and care along with his expert ability to continue to monitor my progress cater to the specific needs of my Achilles and as a result after going for the last 4 weeks have made progress ahead of schedule. Highly recommend Canaan as a PT if you are unfortunately in a position of pain and recovery he help you back on your feet.

Very efficient and well run Physical Therapy center. Appointments are on time with minimal to no waiting. Every staff member is friendly, kind and genuinely cares about the patient's recovery and progress. Mike Bishop does a great job of explaining treatment therapies and is a good teacher to the staff. Jesus is really great -- Sylvia and Jennifer (intern) have magical hands, are very thorough and their demeanor is always welcoming. Performance Therapy Center deserves a 10-star review!

Would not go here if you paid me to. I just warn people that the Channel Islands location, although looks good inside, was very badly run by younger and unprofessional people. I was sent here by my attorneys on lien for very bad back injury and ACL knee tear. Unfortunately, I was in accident and had been hit 2 days before my appointment time by chance which was a bummer. I still went into my appointment all hurt because I didn't want to miss it! They told me to leave and go get seen, which I did, and talk to my attorneys. The vibe was weird though. But they seemed so confused on how to proceed and seemed to care, but something seemed off. Then they start calling attorneys trying to cause trouble. Then 2 other apts happened unfortunately during the fires of Palisades and areas surrounding affected and had fires too, no power etc. When I called about this to reschedule 2 apts, they seemed very mad, very non compassionate for our well being, and generally almost like wanting to cancel me out like I did something wrong. NO COMPASSION for those facing any adversity. Only concerned with getting people in at any cost. I talked to manager Greg. All was good, he understood. Then I went in a bit late on one apt, all disrupted. They seemed very angry, even though I was fine on a lesser time. The PT lied and said I made her stay through her lunch even though she coaxed me to stay(no way would I ever make her go through her lunch) they tried to call me and say not to come, if I am 10 minutes late. PT was still there. I figured she wanted an early lunch. I said up to you, They say I have a "big problem", when I came in. It was only a few forms not working on the online portal. It was so strange considering most was filled out and it was an easy fix. PT lied about entire experience, and then to boot, they cancel all my apts, not even calling me to tell me. They wanted me to drive in single mom, hurt, to tell me off, I assume. Thankfully, I called first, to see if apt was still on, as something seemed off. Then Greg manager told me on the phone "real people are actually hurt here", when I have been suffering so long. For this man, who never met me to presume my injuries was odd. This was very hurtful and strange then I remember how PT kept commenting how good I was doing things on one visit, referring maybe how my legs were just uneven. No, I am in real pain as MRI states this. They treated me like dirt. Also, main entryway full of weed when I walked in. I explained I have allergies, but she said I accused her of smoking, which was not the case. Clear she did not want me there, so she had me removed and treated horribly on the way out by management. All in all, bad run business. Reporting them to BBB. I feel violated and stressed out. No compassion. Find another real business that's actually run with professionals.
